Years at King’s: Two: I am returning to Kings after spending the last two years as a Graduate Assistant at Concord University coaching baseball. I was previously in the Kings School District in the 2003-2004 school year.

Previous Coaching Experience: 1 year as 7th Grade Basketball Coach at Kings, 1 year as Freshman baseball coach at Kings, 3 years as an Assistant baseball coach at Concord University.

Most exciting thing about coaching: Seeing players mature and develop as athletes, individuals, and as teammates over the course of the season…I get pretty excited about winning, too!

Playing Experience: High School: played all four years in High and received 2 Varsity letters. College: Played Four years of baseball at Concord University, and one year of basketball.

Education: High School: Graduated from Kings High School in 1998. College: Graduated with B.S. degree in Sports Management, Physical Education and Health Promotion from Concord University in 2003. Working on Masters in Education from Concord University.

Current Occupation: Assistant to the Athletic Director at Kings High School, Freshman Basketball Coach, JV Baseball Coach.

Personal Data: Son of Lyle and Betty McClung of South Lebanon, OH. Engaged to Hillary Nelson of Beckley, WV. We are planning to get married in May (May 19th) in Jamaica.

Enjoys in spare time: Spare time? What’s that? When I can, I still enjoy playing baseball, basketball, flag football, watching Buckeyes football, and traveling to West Virginia to see my Fiancé, Hillary.
